The Welfare Transition Program has nominated Landrum Staffing Services as their nomination for the Workforce Escarosa Employer of the Year Award. During the Program Year 2008-2009, Landrum has conducted interviews for Welfare Transition participants and offered each individual feedback about their interview and their resume. This type of feedback from the Human Resource perspective is invaluable to a participant who has had very little experience in the interviewing process. Landrum has hired more than 13 participants from the Welfare Transition program for various positions at an average salary of $10.30. Many of the participants are now full-time employed and on their way to a better life. It is because of Landrum that many of our participants have exited to employment. With Landrum’s commitment to “working a better way” and working hand in hand with Workforce Escarosa, they have assisted our Welfare Transition participants to begin a journey that leads them to economic self-sufficiency. Because of Landrum’s hard work and commitment to welfare individuals, it is our pleasure to nominate Landrum Staffing Services as the Workforce Escarosa Employer of the Year.
