Wagner-Peyser
In 1933, the Wagner-Peyser Act became law and the Nationwide Public Employment Service was established. This program is a federally funded labor exchange developed to match up employers with qualified out of work applicants. It is linked to the Re-Employment Assistance (RA) program, helping RA applicants find new employment opportunities.
